I live abroad. I get an automatic 2mos extension to file my return, right?

I would do a tax extension if I feel I need more time to fill a correct return (due to procrastination most of the time, sometimes due to incorrect documents). Now, since you have to pay by tax day, how would I know how much to pay? I would just overpay to be on the clear, and then, after filing my return months later, get the corresponding refund back.

I think you do your taxes early without any errors so you can enjoy your summer.

If you file early, you receive your money early. There is a lot of advantages to file early.

Your stimulus panmeyt is based on your net federal income tax for 2007. If your tax was between $600 and $1200 on your joint return, you get back everything you paid. If your tax was less than $600, you get an even better deal, and get $600, even MORE than you paid in. If you paid over $1200 though, your rebate is limited to $1200.It sounds like your tax for the year was $665. If so, that’s what you would get for your stimulus panmeyt. While those people do work their tails off they are starting a bit ahead of the curve, wouldn’t you agree?

I have a four machine network in my house and want to change the name from "My Computer" on one machine to something else. How can I do that

I have a four machine network in my house and want to change the name from
"My Computer" on one machine to something else. How can I do that so that
the new name will "stick" even after a reboot? I can’t get the new name to
remain after a reboot even though the one at my office does. Thanks!
